Banks of the Foyle Carnival attracts Thousands of Visitors to Derry/Londonderry from all of the UK, Ireland and Europe every year.

With a huge range of events taking place on the days leading up to Halloween everyone can get into the festival spirit and are all but guaranteed a great time no matter what age. The most spectacular display of fireworks takes place on the river Foyle watched by around 30,000 gruesome spectators and with the spell-binding carnival parade snaking around the city to the sound of samba music, everyone can take part!

This year's celebrations will take place from Friday the 28th of October to Monday the 31st full of spooky and magical family fun. Made even more special is that the Halloween Carnival is now in its 25th year, which will be marked by a special silver lining theme!

There will be loads to do like getting a glimpse of Kimberly Walsh at the Guildhall Square with her new group, experience the wonders of the city Ghostbusters tour, visiting haunted houses, hearing chilling ghost stories and best of all, dressing up in your favourite fancy dress costumes for the Halloween Celebrations! You will also experience the world famous parade of magnificent floats with the final big bang of the awesome Fireworks Display on Halloween Night.
